Jenny Hirtz is a certified yoga teacher (E-RYT200, RYT500) based in Berlin. She has traveled and lived all over the world; wherever she goes, yoga is her faithful companion. She was trained in India under the guidance of traditional teachers, who instilled in her a profound practice, free from any judgment and competition. In her classes, she guides students with clarity and with great respect for their health and safety. Converging breathing with conscious movement, she transmits a great sense of calm and positivity, stimulating the release of tensions in the body and the mind.
Her certifications include Hatha and Asthanga Vinyasa Yoga (300RYT) from Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh, and Traditional Hatha Yoga (200RYT) from ShivaShakti Yoga School in Goa, India.
She has been and is participating in workshops, trainings and ongoing education with internationally renowned teachers such as Mark Stephens, Simon-Borg Olivier, Dr. Ronald Steiner, Surinder Singh, Cherryl Duncan, and many more.
Teachings
Hatha Yoga. Following traditional practices, Jenny leads through physical exercises, breathing techniques and meditation to achieve balance of body and mind. Postures are held for longer periods allowing for precise alignment and deeply felt effect on muscles, joints and the endocrine system.
Vinyasa Yoga. Based in the foundation of Hatha Yoga postures and inspired by dynamic Ashtanga yoga, Jenny's classes feature flowing sequences of postures synchronizing breath and movement at a faster pace. A strong focus on proper alignment allows for mental presence and the unfolding of the healing powers of the practice.
Pranayama, Mudra and Meditation. She shares her love for the higher practices of yoga through various techniques such as Mindfulness Exercises for business context, Dynamic Meditation to realease emotional blockages and Yoga Nidra for profound transformation.
Yoga Philosophy and Theory. In workshops and teacher trainings she demystifies the ancient philosophy and facilitates the implementation in modern daily life.

Jenny teaches regular classes at various renowned studios in Berlin such as Yogibar and Lotos Yoga. As a member of the teaching staff at Campus Naturalis Akademie she leades seminars in the state-accredited Yoga Teacher Training.
She has been and is teaching corporate yoga at various companies in Berlin such as Hey Woman!, HHV.de, and Noa Technologies. In collaboration with Hey Woman! she conceptualized and filmed a video series published in their video magazine. Recently she has performed yoga postures and sequences for picture and video tutorials on Foodspring Magazine.
She has been teachin up to 50 stundents at a time at her own yoga events and festivals, such as Monticule Festival in France.
