Balance Yoga (Kharkov)

Valentina and Igor are our friends and residents of past seasons of festivals and marathons, always welcome masters and participants. It is difficult to find yogis in Ukraine who didn’t hear about the Balance Yoga technique, and we know that many of you have long wanted to get to know the masters personally. As Valentina combines scientific and medical approach to yoga she will answer all your questions in a reasonable manner.

Valentina is the organizer and lead teacher of the training courses for Hatha Yoga trainers in Kharkov and Dnipro, the creator of the Balance Yoga method.

In his classes, she uses dynamic steps in the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya (Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, A. G. Mohan, T. K. V. Deshikachar), as well as the sukshma and prana-vyayama schools of Dhirendra Brahmacharya. She has been practicing yoga since 1992, she began teaching in 2003.

She participated in the seminars of Kali Rei (Tray Yoga), Reinhard Gamenthaller (school of D. Brahmacharya), David Svenson (Ashtang Vinyasa), Petri Raisyanen (Ashtang Vinyasa), Sergey Agapkin (Swastha Yoga), Sharat R. Joyce (Ashtang Vinyasa). She was trained and certified at the Ashtanga Yoga Center in Moscow according to the standards of the International Yoga Federation.

She successfully completed training and certification at the Institute of Traditional Health Systems. Qualification «Specialist in yoga therapy.»

Igor is a participant and a headliner of international yoga festivals: Avatar and Gran Canaria Conference, Carpatian yoga conference. He has certificates like Mulligan, Mulligan Sport, PNF 2, yoga therapy ODE ITSO, yoga therapy in neurology ITSO, PNF in yoga practice. His style of training is the Balance yoga.

He has been practicing yoga since 2010, and has been teaching since 2014. Prior to that, he devoted several years to martial arts and qigong. His teachers were Valentina Malinovskaya and Sergey Agapkin. Igor uses static-dynamic sequences in the tradition of Krishnamacharya. He participates in the development of training steps for the Yoga balance.
